POLICE are investigating the unexplained death of a young man in Lerwick at the weekend.
James Hunter, 23, from Whiteness, apparently became ill in a house in town on Saturday and was taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital where he later died.
A post-mortem will be carried out this week in Aberdeen.
Police said inquiries are at an early stage and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal in due course.
