Sullom tanker trade picks up
Sullom Voe Terminal was back to being busy this week in comparison to the solitary tanker which called the previous week.
Last Friday the SKS Mersey left for Portland with a cargo of 83,453 tonnes. On Monday the SKS Tana loaded 79,282 tonnes before sailing on to Rotterdam and the Alfa Germania left with 82,830 tonnes bound for Tranmere.
There were two Schiehallion imports, the Loch Rannoch ariving last Wednesday and again on Friday, with 33,469 and 33,158 tonnes respectively.
The Eurochampion 2004 was the sole exporter of Schiehallion crude, leaving with 84,168 tonnes bound for Scapa Flow.
There were no ship-to-ship transfers and no disruptions to berthing were reported.
