Seventeen model yachts take part in inter-club
Asta Loch was the venue for model yachts and crews on Saturday when the annual programme of inter-club races was sailed with 17 boats taking part.
Allcomer race: 1 Vigilant II (Ralph Pottinger and Scott Nicolson); 2 Aqua Star (Alex Watt and Derek Hughson); 3 Impala (James and Mark Johnson); under-18 shield James Johnson; under-50s R Pottinger.
Rock Trophy (non team): 1 Predator (Robert Irvine and David Wishart); 2 Valerian (David Grant and Brydon Leask); 3 Impala.
Team race: 1 Enza (Steven Johnson and David Wishart); 2 Valerian (David Grant and Brydon Leask); 3 Vigilant II. Team Cup: Asta (11 points).
Seven boats went to Bressay to complete the model yacht season.
