Three Shetland swimmers have been selected to repre-sent the North District of Scotland in the forthcoming county championships in Sheffield on 18th October.
Seventeen-year-olds Amy Harper from Lerwick ASC and Andrea Strachan (SACSC) will be competing in the older age group while Felix Gifford from Delting Dolphins will swim in the middle age group.
This is a great achievement for the swimmers and means that Shetland has taken three of the 24 places in the team.
Lerwick Community Council (LCC) has donated more than £1,600 towards replacing the old electronic timing system at the Clickimin swimming pool.
