Shetland 10, Aberdeen Wanderers 6

On Saturday afternoon Shetland RFC had a tremendous victory over the Aberdeen Wanderers.

Aberdeen Wanderers were last year’s winners of the Scottish Hydro Caledonia North East second division and are second place in the league this season, four places above Shetland.

Aberdeen Wanderers’ defeat by Shetland ensures that Garioch are the winners of the league this season.

Shetland scored all of their points in the second half. Paul Grant successfully kicked the conversion attempt to extend Shetland’s lead. Aberdeen Wanderers were unable to reply to Shetland’s try and the final score was 10-6 to Shetland.
