NorthLink cancels tonight’s sailing of Hjaltland from Lerwick to Aberdeen

NorthLink has cancelled tonight’s sailing of the Hjaltland from Lerwick to Aberdeen after severe winds were forecast.

The Hrossey is still scheduled to leave Aberdeen tonight at 7pm on the northbound run.

The cancellation of tonight’s southbound service will mean two ferries in Lerwick tomorrow, and will have a knock-on effect on tomorrow’s northbound sailing from Aberdeen.

The ferry operator has apologised for the inconvenience caused.  Passengers are advised to check sailing details on the NorthLink website at www.northlinkferries.co.uk
