Ashamed by decision

The decision to close Scalloway School is lunacy! The Anderson High School is currently not fit for purpose for the numbers of pupils it has never mind adding more.

When it came to the educational reasons for closing the school these did not stand up to scrutiny. After over 30 years working in schools locally I now feel ashamed to be associated with education in Shetland.

This decision has to be “called in” by Scottish ministers and reversed.
