A Bigton man appeared in private from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court this afternoon in connection with the seizure of drugs, suspected to be amphetamine, at Sumburgh Airport on Wednesday.
Ross Sutherland, 22, whose address was given as Aberdeen Prison, was remanded in custody after making no plea or declaration. He is expected to reappear in court next week.
