Bless the common market (Gordon Walterson)

With fuel prices in the headlines at the moment, it might be of interest to see the pump prices in Faroe, which stand at £1.12 per litre for petrol and £1.03 per litre for diesel. This fuel is sourced from the Stat Oil refinery in Gothenburgh, Sweden.

Shetland cannot set its own pump price, so this is merely of interest to us. This could be investigated.

The Scottish Parliament at Holyrood has no input on fuel prices but Westminster is all-powerful until it comes to a reduction for the Scottish islands and also the Scilly Isles where we have to apply to the European Commission in Brussels. Bless the common market.
