The owner of two dogs that attacked and killed a cat in Lerwick has been charged under the Dangerous Dogs Act.
Police were informed of the incident in the town’s Charlotte Street, which happened at around 8am on Friday, and tracked down and identified the dogs’ owner.
A spokesman said the force would like to thank the public for their help.
