Huge turnout for island games opening ceremony

There was a large turnout of spectators in Ryde in the Isle of Wight on Saturday evening for the procession and opening ceremony of the 2011 NatWest Island Games.

The Shetland team was led by water carrier Emma Leask and flag carrier Graham Keith.

Lord Coe declared the games officially open and the sport begins in earnest today.
