A man has been remanded after allegedly carrying out a serious assault.
Marcin Olejniczak, 34, of no fixed abode today appeared in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court.
Appearing from custody before sheriff Philip Mann, he made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination.
He is expected to reappear in court in a week’s time.
