Swimmer has potential to compete at Glasgow 2014

Lerwick swimmer Amy Harper has been identified by Scottish Swimming as a competitor who has the potential to be selected in a relay event at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

Harper’s coach Petur Petursson said: “With the games now only 18 months away, more and more of our thoughts and plans are turning towards this fantastic opportunity to represent Scotland on the home stage.

“Relay events play a big part of major international meets and the Commonwealth Games is no exception. Scotland has achieved significant success in relays in recent times, winning medals both in Melbourne 2006 and Delhi 2010.”
