Junior footballers in action at Loch Lomond

Four teams from the Shetland Junior Football Association have travelled south to compete in the Loch Lomond Festival.

Each team played two games yesterday and one today before the semi-finals and hopefully a final appearance tomorrow.

The results so far are as follows:

Under-12s – Shetland 1, Larkhall 4, Shetland scorer Lewis Harkness; Shetland 5, Riverside 2, Josh Carroll (2), Brandon Talukder, Luca Russell and Lewis Harkness; Shetland 1, Takoma Park 1, Lewis Harkness.

Under-14s – Shetland 1, Milton 5, Shetland scorer Curtis Carter; Shetland 2, Westwood Rovers 6, Ronnie Sandison and Shane Odie; Shetland 1, Colts Wood Colts 5, Connor Grant.

Under-16s – Shetland 2, Riverside 2, Shetland scorers Bobby Scott and Luke Smith; Shetland 4, Helensburgh 0, Luke Smith (2), John Allan (pen), Magnus Thomson; Shetland 1, Manulla 1, Charlie Unsworth.
