Bail granted for man accused of serious assault in Lerwick’s town centre
A man accused of carrying out an assault to severe injury has been released from custody.
Liam Cromwell, 21, of Lerwick was granted bail after appearing in private in the town’s sheriff court today.
Cromwell was fully committed for trial when he appeared on petition alleging assault to severe injury, permanent impairment and danger of life.
Earlier this month a serious assault was carried out against a 29-year-old man in Lerwick’s Town Centre.
