Lifeboat guides stricken fishing boat into harbour
Lerwick lifeboat was called out at just after midday today to go to the aid of a Banff fishing boat with four people on board.
The Sunlight Ray, which was 18 miles north-east of Bressay, reported losing electrical power and could not use navigation instruments.
Due to the thick fog in the area, the vessel needed assistance to reach the harbour.
The Lerwick lifeboat escorted the fishing boat into Lerwick, arriving just before 4pm.
