Pair accused of housebreaking remanded in custody

Two men accused of housebreaking have been remanded in custody following private appearances at Lerwick Sheriff Court.

Adam Nelson, 24, of Scalloway and Kieran Roberts, 26, of Lerwick, both appeared from the cells before honorary sheriff Arnold Duncan on a petition alleging two charges of housebreaking.

Neither made any plea or declaration, both were committed for further examination and remanded in custody.

The two are expected to appear in the dock again next week.
