A man accused of assault and possession of a knife has been remanded in custody.
John Hutcheson, 23, of Lerwick, was also charged with carrying out an offence under the misuse of drugs act.
Hutcheson made no plea or declaration when he appeared at from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court today.
He was remanded after being committed for further examination.
Hutcheson is expected to appear in court again in relation to the charges next week.
