Man dies in farm accident
Police have named a man who died in a work accident this morning as 46-year-old James Bryden Budge from Bigton.
Mr Budge, a farmer, was the husband of children’s services director Helen Budge. The couple also have three daughters.
According to Police Scotland, emergency services attended an accident at Bigton Farm at 10am but Mr Budge died as a result of his injuries.
A report, in conjunction with the Health and Safety Executive, is to be submitted to the procurator fiscal. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
