Car fire in Quarff

A car caught fire on the main road at Quarff on Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters from Lerwick were called to the blaze on the A970 just after 3pm, and extinguished it using two hose reel jets and two sets of breathing apparatus.

The fire was out by 3.28pm but the car was destroyed. No-one was injured.
