Woman admits ecstasy charge

A woman has pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of ecstasy in Lerwick on 9th September.

Catherine Mary Trevor, 23, described as a prisoner at Grampian Prison, admitted the offence at Lerwick Sheriff Court today. She was caught with the class A drug at the NorthLink ferry terminal.

Due to the nature of the offence and a previous conviction, Sheriff Arnold Duncan asked for criminal justice social inquiry reports. Trevor was remanded in custody and will appear again on Thursday 26th November.
