Early ferry departure

NorthLink have confirmed an earlier departure for its southbound sailing tonight.

The Hrossey was scheduled to head off from Holmsgarth for Aberdeen at 7pm.

But she will now leave Lerwick at 4.30pm instead. Arrival into Aberdeen tomorrow may, the operator says, be subject to minor delays.

Meanwhile, the northbound sailing of the Hjaltland may also be held up. The poor forecast overnight means her arrival in Lerwick may be subject to delays.
