Police appeal for missing man

Police are asking for help in tracing a man missing from Lerwick.

David Brown, 68, was last seen by a friend in the isles at 3.30pm on Wednesday.

He is believed to have gone on the NorthLink ferry to Aberdeen with his red BMW motorcycle and side car.

Mr Brown is described as white, about 5’7, of average build with short, greying hair. He was wearing biker clothing and speaks with a south England accent.

Police believe he may be travelling to the Devon and Cornwall area.

They are asking anyone who has seen him, or knows of his whereabouts, to contact police as a matter of urgency.
