Absolute discharge for woman
A Lerwick woman was given an absolute discharge at Lerwick Sheriff Court on 8th June.
It came after an earlier hearing when Pauline Joan Mackie, 35, had faced charges of assaulting a man and smashing a window in a front door at her home in Market Street in the town.
The case was continued without plea or declaration until a hearing on 8th June, when Mrs Mackie admitted a lesser charge but was given an absolute discharge. That means she has no criminal record.
