A man was taken to Gilbert Bain Hospital on Wednesday night following a car fire near Sumburgh Airport.
Three appliances attended the scene from Sumburgh and Sandwick, according to a fire service spokeswoman.
Firefighters first received the call at 20.30pm and left the incident just before 10pm.
