Musical works celebrates ‘The Living Mountain’
Isles-based singer songwriter is preparing for her latest release next month – a new compilation inspired by the writings of Nan Shepherd.
The Living Mountain is Sturgeon’s second solo album, and is tightly entwined with the environment.
Her latest work takes its name from Shepherd’s acclaimed book on the Cairngorm mountains – a range Aberdeenshire-born Sturgeon is well familiar with.
