Emergency services called to ‘concerns for teenage boy’ beach near Lerwick

Emergency services were called to reports of concerns for a teenage boy this afternoon (Saturday).

Police received received a call at around 4.15pm to the beach near Quoys Road, Sound.

The coastguard and ambulance service also attended.

The boy was taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital in Lerwick for treatment.
