Robert Williamson has taken over as chairman of Shetland Shellfish Management Organisation (SSMO).
He replaces Ian Walterson, who has stood down from his role after 15 years.
Mr Walterson has also resigned as a director.
Vice-chairman Garry Leask has also stood down, with Sydney Johnson stepping into the post.
