Eight new Covid-19 cases recorded in Friday’s update

Eight new Covid-19 cases have been recorded in the official figures published today (Friday).

According to the Scottish government’s daily statistics, the isles’ latest seven day tally now stands at 35.

Shetland’s total cases since the start of the pandemic has reached 687.

Across Scotland, 2,627 new cases were recorded today.
