Eight new Covid cases

Shetland has recorded a further eight cases of coronavirus today (Tuesday).

That follows nine on Monday.

The isles have now recorded 71 cases in the last seven days, according to today’s Scottish government figures.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is set to address Holyrood this afternoon about potential changes to restrictions – although Christmas will not be affected.
