Offshore worker airlifted

A crewman has been airlifted from an offshore installation.

The coastguard helicopter was sent to the platform 107 miles north east of Sumburgh shortly after 10am this morning [Saturday].

The casualty was taken to the emergency landing site at Lerwick before being transferred to the Gilbert Bain Hospital for treatment.
