Man charged with abduction and attempted murder
A 27-year-old Lerwick man has appeared in court charged with abduction and attempted murder.
Kyle Swannie entered no plea when he appeared in private before Lerwick Sheriff Court today (Monday).
The attempted murder charge also alleges he committed assault to severe injury and danger to life.
Swannie was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
He is due to appear before the court again within eight days.
