A Lerwick man has appeared in court in relation to child abuse images.
Henry Hunter, 36, entered no plea when he appeared before Lerwick Sheriff Court today (Tuesday).
The charge relates to taking or making indecent images of children.
Hunter was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
He is due before the court within eight days.
Youth workers will be patrolling the streets following an assault which led to five young people being charged.
