Shetland Rural Energy Hubs Officer

Full Time/Part Time (offering between 28-35 hours a week)

An exciting opportunity to work with Shetland and Orkney communities on climate action and resilience.

Community Energy Scotland are looking for someone with a passion for community action on low-carbon transport and active travel, good people and community engagement skills and a degree in community development, renewable energy or other relevant qualification or significant commensurate experience.

The successful candidate will join our Rural Energy Hubs Team who will support a network of Shetland and Orkney islands to co-produce sustainable community transport plans.

Salary: £30,210 p.a. pro rata

This is a fixed-term post for one year, ideally based in Shetland.
