More tickets on sale for Bill Bailey show

A further 400 tickets for the Bill Bailey show at Clickimin next month are being put on sale by the promoters after the original tranche sold out rapidly.

The comedian and musician is bringing his new live show to Lerwick as part of a tour of the north-west of England and the Highlands and Islands.

Some 700 tickets for the event on 26th May, described by Bailey’s publicists as one of a series of “intimate gigs”, went on sale at 9am on Friday morning, priced at £15, and had sold out by the following day.

There have been criticisms of the promoters for failing to advertise the event before the tickets went on sale. Instead of a cabaret format, seats will now be in rows to accommodate the extra folk.

The tickets will go on sale at the Shetland Box Office, tel (01595) 745555, at 9am on Friday.
