Gales could cause ferry delays

Gale force winds and a high swell could cause delays to the southbound ferry to Aberdeen tonight.

Serco NorthLink said the Hrossey is due to leave at 7pm but there is a possibility of a delay in arriving tomorrow morning because of the weather.

Tomorrow’s service from Aberdeen to Lerwick, leaving at 5pm could also be delayed because of bad weather as could the service leaving Lerwick at 7pm for Aberdeen.
