Lemons’ tour video goes live
Local indie rock group The Dirty Lemons have recently released a video of their September 2015 tour.
The four-date mini tour was in celebration of the release of their self titled debut album.
Locations on the tour were Orkney, Skye, Inverness and Aberdeen. The band then performed further date locally at Mareel in November as part of the promotion for their album launch.
Shetland videographer Keiba Clubb was on hand during the tour to film the shenanigans. Miss Clubb then produced the film under the guise of her film production company Keiba Film.
Keiba Film has been operational since June last year and has already produced videos for other local acts including The Revellers and Quantana.
Of the video Clubb said: “It’s not just a music video. You also get to see the personality of the band and see how the crowd respond to them.”
She added that it was “A brilliant marketing tool for the band.”
Bass player for The Dirty Lemons Craig Watt said: “Keiba has done an amazing job on the video.”
“When Keiba showed us the video I had a big grin on my face. It brought back memories of the tour. It was a laugh a minute and pretty full on.”
Watt added that the band’s debut album had received a “very positive response.”
