Meeting will discuss Loganair service

Key figures including the chief executive of the Civil Aviation Authority are due to meet in Lerwick tomorrow to discuss ongoing concerns over Loganair’s services to the Northern Isles.

Private talks will involve CAA boss Andrew Haines, Loganair representatives and local politicians, as well as senior council figures.

It comes after widespread concerns surrounding the quality of service provided by Loganair in recent months, culminating in delayed flights and technical difficulties.
