Gulberwick crash
A car crashed through a barrier and plunged approximately 20 metres down an embankment at Gulberwick in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to the one-vehicle accident opposite the Black Gaet junction at 12.20am.
The driver of the car, a silver Ford Focus, managed to get out of the car. The man, who police say was in his thirties, was taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital in Lerwick, but was uninjured.
He was kept in overnight for observation, suffering from shock.
A fire appliance from Lerwick attended to help search the area.
