A man appeared in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Tuesday afternoon charged with two offences.
John Harding, 46, whose address was given as Shetland, has been remanded in custody following his appearance.
The first charge involves a non-harrasment order and the second is related to threatening and abusive behaviour.
He made no plea and was committed for further examination.
