Police have issued a warning over a fuel spillage in various parts of Lerwick and on the West Side.
Motorists are being asked to take care while driving in and around the town.
But spillages are also thought to stretch as far west as Bixter.
Shetland Islands Council’s roads department have been contacted.
Emergency services have confirmed one person has died in a house fire near Walls.
