Congratulations to Richard and the family and best wishes for the year ahead. I was sent to Shetland with Clydesdale bank in 1976 and had to find accommodation. I was given Richard’s mum and dad’s address and spent my year in Shetland at their house and was grateful to them for looking after me.Richard was 6 months old then, how times have changed! We have since been back so many times and love the place.

not to take any thing away from Jarl-Richard Moar in any way but he is not the first. My Jarl DUHA 2005 we had about 1 Third of the squad female warriors, announced to the committee and accepted it made for a good balance and a wonderfully experience. I fondly remember my daughter on the Hopp day charging up the steps to the N.L leading the charge, now a proud mum with 2 very special grandchildren that i love. But this was not the first in DUHA. We did not blow a horn we just went on and did it because it was good fun!
