A man was taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital from a platform east southeast of Sumburgh this afternoon (Tuesday) because of an illness.
The call was made around midday and a coastguard rescue helicopter went to the man’s aid.
He was transferred into the care of a medical crew shortly before 4pm at the Clickimin landing site.
