NorthLink warns of further delays as strong winds continue

NorthLink has warned passengers of further delays to services as strong winds continue through the week.

The ferry operator had already advised customers tonight’s (Tuesday) northbound sailings were likely to delayed.

It has since clarified that the Hjaltland‘s arrival in Lerwick could be up to three hours late.

And the freight vessel Helliar could face delays of up to four hours.

Tomorrow’s northbound services are also subject to likely delays.

The Hrossey‘s arrival in Lerwick could be delayed by around an hour.

And the freight boat Hildasay could be three to four hours late arriving in Lerwick,
