AHS netball girls through to Scottish Schools Cup final

The Anderson High School netball team has reached the final of the Scottish Schools Cup.

The AHS girls defeated East Kilbride-based Duncanrig 50-48 in today’s semi-final, played at the Lerwick school’s games hall.

The AHS, who came back from a seven-goal deficit at one stage, now head to Motherwell for the final on Friday, where they will take on Peebles in the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility.

Representing the AHS were Clare Farmer, Heather Marshall, Liza Fullerton, Holly King, Haley Tulloch, Alina Murray, Kim Johnson, Iona Holmes, Jenny Anderson, Zoey Symington and Lynsey Morrison.
