New website for Mind Your Head

Mental health charity Mind Your Head has announced the launch of a new look website.

The site, which can be seen at www.mindyourhead.org.uk, has been developed by NB Communications and was made possible thanks to a grant from Awards For All.

The local charity has also increased and updated the information it has on mental health and wellbeing.

That includes a new feature called ‘Focus of the month’ which has been researched over the last twelve months.

It comes after a volunteer with the charity investigated website traffic to explore areas of information which were commonly searched for.

Team leader Jacqui Clark said: “This has been really helpful for us in understanding exactly what information the community in Shetland are looking to find at certain times of the year. We can now ensure that we get the right information out there whilst promoting mental health positively.”

The charity has also recently compiled the results of their community survey which was launched in April this year. The findings will be launched at their annual general meeting later this month.
