The Aith lifeboat was tasked to go to help the fishing vessel Radiant Star at 7.35am on Tuesday.
The boat, which had a fouled propeller, was four miles north of Ve Skerries and was taken under tow by the lifeboat, arriving at West Burrafirth mid-morning.
