NorthLink passengers again warned to expect travel delays

NorthLink passengers are again being warned about the possibility of minor delays to this evening’s sailings.

M.V Hrossey’s northbound sailing from Aberdeen to Lerwick may be subject to delays of up to 90 minutes due to an adverse weather forecast.

Though the Pentland Firth service between Scrabster and Stromness will be operating to a heavily revised schedule the ferry providers remain confident that M.V Hjaltland’s southbound sailing will operate as planned.

This is despite the fact that the vessel left Aberdeen early last night and arrived in Lerwick behind schedule this morning.
