Fire in skips near Brae

The fire brigade put out a skip fire near Brae last night after receiving a call from the public at 9.42pm.

One appliance from Brae attended the fire which was burning in two skips near the main road between Brae and Wethersta and put out the blaze with a jet and a hose reel jet. Firemen used two sets of breathing apparatus in the operation. The fire engine returned to base at 11.30pm.
