Police probe alleged incident at Garths Ness buildings
Police are appealing for witnesses after what they described as “an altercation between a man and a woman” south of Quendale, Dunrossness.
The incident apparently took pace an the former Ministry of Defence listening station at Garth Ness between 12.30pm 1.30pm on Thursday.
The disused buildings, near to where the Braer tanker went down in January 1993, were more recently used as one of the locations during the filming of the Shetland television crime series.
The police would like to speak to anyone who would have been in the area or on the Quendale road at that time. If anybody can help they are asked to contact the police at Lerwick on 101.
